9:30AM - Grid Maintenance
All servers are being upgraded to the latest kernel. Region databases are also going to be optimized. We do this quarterly as a performance tuneup. The grid will be offline until approximately 10:30AM (or sooner).
10:50AM - Grid Maintainance Completed
It took longer than expected. All regions online, grid maintenance completed.
The inventory items table was quite deoptimized. A lot of that was caused by the satyr farm and Quintonia activity.
One of the changes I will be making in the next month is to garbage collect the satyr farm backup notecards weekly. That should curtail the asset bloat caused by the horrid design choice satyr/quintonia made by using notecards as backups.
